Hi-Power Transmissions, the company incorporated in the year 1999 by Mr. R.C.Kotari, started under a parent company M/S. Menko’s Departments established in the year 1973 by Mr. R.C.Kothari as a supplier of electrical transmission and distribution line materials.

In the year 1973, Hi-Power Transmissions was established as an SSI manufacturing unit with an aim of designing its own products required for Transmission and distribution materials.

HT / LT marketing our products throughout south India which have been well accepted by our customers as well as electricity boards. We are in this line of activity for over four decades and have achieved a reputation as one of the best quality manufacturers.

Hi-Power Transmissions has acquired vast experience, not only in the field of Electrical but also as a reputed supplier. Having various vendor approvals of Electrical Board and major electrical contractors.

Managing Partner

My father R.C. Kothari started the business of supplying Electrical Transmissions and Distribution materials in the year 1973 and I was helping my father in running the business since the year 1980. In the year 1999 I Yogesh.R.Kothari member of Electrical Merchant Association and Federation of Chamber of Commerce, Bangalore started sister concern by name Hi-Power Transmissions initially with its Regd/Corp. Office at Mallappa’s new market, Chickpet, Bangalore, later works started at New Timberyard Layout, Mysore Road Cross, Bangalore as well as at Sy No 87, Subbarayappa Playa Road, Kumbalagodu Post, Kengeri Hobli, Bangalore and improvised the same business.

In this field I have 40 years of experience. My experience has helped and benefited to various electrical engineers and are successful in their career. I have designed various products in this field out of my experiences was and is appreciated by many Electricity Boards in India. Out of many projects completed by me few of them are listed here below.

Kirloskar Brothers: Bidar water works and Turbine.
Sharavathi Substation: Sharavathi redesigning of 66 KV Sub station
BEML: Redesigning of 220KV substation.
Kirloskar Electric Co: For their works tapping 220Kv to 66Kv to 33Kv at Jog falls.
NCC Ltd: For their turnkey job of electrifying 110 villages in Raichur and 150 villages at Gulbarga.
Larsen and Turbo Ltd: BESCOM project.
GVPR Ltd: For changing overhead line from LT to HT line work in Mandya and Maddur.

Now I am developing Designing, Manufacturing and Suppling of Porcelain and Polymeric Insulators also as per todays requirements. Still I want to expand my business in a big way and to create a brand of my own in international markets.
